Gratitude Garlands: Crafting Winter Offerings
Saturday, January 10
10:00am – 12:00pm
For: All ages! (children 10 and under will need an adult with them)

Class size: 12
Registration is required!

Create beautiful edible garlands for winter birds and wildlife in this hands-on workshop led by Nancy X. Valentine. We’ll gather to string natural offerings of fruits, nuts, and seeds while honoring our connection to the wild creatures around us. This gentle ritual blends creativity with gratitude, offering us a chance to slow down, celebrate the season, and care for the birds and critters who share our landscapes through the coldest months.

Can’t attend the full workshop? There will be a quick version for anyone visiting the library that day while supplies last!

This activity is part of Springboard for the Arts’ Winter Rituals: New & Old programming. To learn more about Springboard for the Arts, visit springboardforthearts.org. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
