College Scholarship Essay Workshop

6:30 – 8:00pm

Intended for current high school students in grades 9th – 12th. Parents welcome to attend with their teen.

Registration is required

This class is FREE and taught via Zoom. Join from home or at the Fergus Falls Public Library with Ms. Arielle. Refreshments will be served at the library. Participants joining remotely will be emailed the Zoom link prior to the program.

Class description: Prepare to write your college scholarship application essays by exploring your personal narrative and how to tell your story in a compelling way. Discover storytelling and persuasive strategies to showcase your experiences and describe your motivations, career aspirations and how you’ve overcome challenges.  Led by Loft Literary Center Teaching Artist Mitchell LeGrand
